Hi, I’m Genieve

I am passionate about combining Chiropractic, Yoga, and conditioning to build minds and bodies that thrive with age.

I combine my practice and research in these fields to provide comprehensive treatments that go beyond the adjustment.

For many years, I dealt with chronic lung problems, migraines and headaches that stopped me from fully performing at my best every day. I decided to try Chiropractic when I was in school and saw the results almost immediately. Right in that moment is when I knew that I wanted to do this for others.

Healthy living is my passion.

I combine my Chiropractic education, anti-aging research, and my passion for conditioning to create holistic plans for my patients. I have seen the benefits of implementing healthy routines first-hand. The impact that it has had on my life and those around me is priceless, and something that I want to share.

My Approach

Anti-Aging, beyond the skin.

Most people automatically think of preserving the skin and fighting wrinkles when it comes to anti-aging, but my techniques work from the inside out. Just like regularly using topical moisturizing creams help maintain healthy looking skin, your joints and muscles need to be regularly vitalized with proper conditioning, stretching and Chiropractic.

Aging affects all areas of your body, but they can generally be separated into three: your skin, your organs, and your joints and muscles – these areas maintain a symbiotic relationship. My treatments are geared to creating recovery and restoration in the body by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system.

When you are working in a predominantly parasympathetic state of the nervous system (rest and restore), all natural processes are occurring. The spine is the home to both our parasympathetic and sympathetic nerve plexi (groups of nerves). By stimulating the areas to recover and rest, we can create a healing response through hormonal, organ and muscular health.

Cartilage degenerates as we age, and advances quicker when there is unequal stress on the joint

1

By performing adjustments on the soft tissue and joints, alignment is restored creating the proper stresses on the joint, reducing the cartilage compression.

Muscles decrease in efficiency when there is scar tissue build up around motor neuron junctions, causing poor movement in the joints

2

By stimulating motor nerve connections in the muscles manually we can reboot cortical connections with the brain and restore proper function to the muscle

Postural habits create reduced range of motion in shoulders, spine and hips, creating stiffness and loss of strength

3

By using soft tissue techniques directed at fascia, connective tissue and muscle, proper range of motion is restored, activities resumed and strength regained

Hormones such as estrogen and testosterone decrease as we age, reducing function of both absorption of bone building vitamins and minerals and decreased bone mass production

4

By giving nutritional and exercise guidance, I can help you maintain bone density, and mitigate age related hormonal decreases to support excellent health
